Kreate Spaces recently supplied and installed two 4.5m diameter dome pods to The Abbey School in Reading, Berkshire as part of a Sixth Form village to enhance the outdoor courtyard space and offer additional weather proof coverage with a difference.
The futuristic structures were part of a range of changes to the school during the summer break whilst redevelopment work continues on the main building.
The temporary structures were installed in time for the new term providing additional space for the students to, relax and study whilst opening opportunities to use the space for meetings and events during the year.
The educational pods featured, integrated LED lighting, heater/air conditioning along with solid wooden floor including non-slip vinyl finish, UV reflective window sun control panels and clear star gazing roof.
